Hi Carol,
I found a whole heap of educational books in a long forgotten cupboard at work. Being a self confessed book thief, I took them home to investigate. Most are quite old with newer editions available. These two were relevant to me:
Curzon, L.B (2002) Teaching in Further Education. 5th edition. London. Continuum
Roger, A (2003) Teaching adults. 3rd edition, Berkshire. Open University Press
I’ve only just noticed that I have the 3rd and 5th edition of the Curzon text. The 5th edition looks very different!
NIACE do a good range of publications on adult numeracy and literacy.
Happy reading :-))

I’ll happily donate them to you – send me your address! It’s against the code of conduct of book thieves to sell liberated texts!
